The State Land Board is a separate agency from the COGCC. Our agency and our lessees are subject to the same local, state, and federal rules and requirements as any private land owner. The Explosives Program ensures the safety of workers and the public and protects property by regulating individuals and businesses that use, manufacture, possess, sell, store, transport, and dispose of explosives or blasting agents.
